Cretan Terracotta PotsStamnaki
A classic Cretan terracotta Amphora and one of the principal shapes of ancient Greek pottery. Available here in miniature, it is a two handled pot with the neck narrower than the body – the definition of a true Amphora. One of the work horses of the ancient world, these terracotta vessels were used to transport olives, cereal, oil and wine. Not much good as a planter but unbeatable for bring the true flavour of Cretan pottery to any planting group.
